From your first message to your fifth year in Busan.
Every engagement is led by one consultant who guides your family end to end. Below is exactly what happens when you contact us — step by step, in the order it actually unfolds.

Our five-step process
Our five-step process
Step 01
First contact & needs discovery Typically Week 1 When you reach out, we don't pitch services. We listen. You'll receive a detailed intake questionnaire covering your timing, family composition, budget, work or school constraints, lifestyle preferences, and what you've already considered. We study your situation carefully before recommending anything — because the right proposal for one family is the wrong one for another. You receive: An intake questionnaire and a written initial brief based on your answers.
─────
Step 02
Conversation by email and messenger, then video call Typically Week 1 – 2 Once your brief is ready, we move into ongoing conversation — by email and messenger (WhatsApp, KakaoTalk, or LINE, whichever you prefer). We answer questions as they come up, share early findings, and refine your priorities together. When you feel ready, we schedule a video call to align on strategy, narrow down neighborhoods, and agree on the scope of our engagement. You receive: A written engagement summary and scope of work.
─────
Step 03
Busan visit & property tours Typically before move-in If you can visit Busan in advance — even for a few days — we coordinate everything for that trip. We line up property viewings with vetted licensed brokers from our network, accompany you to each visit, translate on site, help you compare options, and handle the logistics around your stay (transport, school visits, neighborhood walks). If you cannot visit, we run the same tours remotely by video on your behalf. You receive: A shortlist of properties, broker introductions, and an in-person or remote tour itinerary.
─────
Step 04
Paperwork, lease signing, and move-in Typically 2 – 4 weeks before arrival Once you choose a property, we manage the full lease process. Contract review and translation, negotiation of terms, deposit handling guidance, residence registration preparation, utility setup, and signing day attendance. For U.S.-affiliated clients, we coordinate documents compatible with HSC review and OHA requirements. We are present on signing day. You don't sign anything you haven't understood. You receive: A signed lease, completed move-in paperwork, and a settled home ready for arrival.
─────
Step 05
Settling in & long-term support From move-in onward — no end date This is where most relocation services stop. We don't. After you've moved in, ongoing paperwork follows — foreign resident registration, driver's license conversion, banking, phone, school enrollment finalization, healthcare setup. We advise on each step and accompany you in person to the offices where Korean is required. Beyond paperwork, we remain your trusted local contact for as long as you are in Busan. Lease renewals, household problems, neighborhood questions, recommendations — the kind of things you would normally ask a friend. You receive: A long-term local contact, on call.

Fees & engagement
Fees & engagement
The first stretch is on us. Your initial inquiry, our discovery conversations, and the pre-arrival briefing before you land in Busan are complimentary — no obligation, no pressure.
We work this way because the strongest engagements begin with mutual understanding: a clear sense of what you need, and an honest read on whether we're the right partner for it. By the time paid work begins, both sides know exactly what we're building together.
From there, our work is delivered as a flat consulting fee, agreed in writing before the engagement begins. Fees vary based on scope and timeline, and are quoted individually after the initial conversation.
